Woods of Westlake is located close to 2 parks in the Lost Creek neighborhood including Boulder Park and the Lost Creek neighborhood Park.  The Woods of Westlake is also adjacent to the popular Barton Creek Greenbelt. The closest access point to the Barton Creek Greenbelt is in the neighborhood off Scottish Woods Trail. There’s a hiking trail and a swimming hole for parts of the year. Barton Creek Greenbelt  is spread over 809 acres and offers runners, mountain bikers and hikers over 7.9 miles of trails.  Rock climbers are also drawn to the limestone cliffs.   During the summer, the Greenbelt provides Austinites with a refreshing swimming hole.
