There are a variety of organizations in the Westlake Area that offer youth sports programs.  We have compiled a list below organized by each sport.

Westlake Area Youth Baseball

West Austin Youth Assocation– is a privately funded, non-profit organization offering recreational programs for Austin kids ages 6 months – 12th grade. Western Hills Little League- Boys Baseball & Girls Softball – is a volunteer organization for boys’ baseball and girls’ softball little league games usually running from Spring Break through the end of the school year.  Visit www.whll.org for more information.

Westlake Area Youth Basketball

Westlake Youth Basketball Association – provides an environment where children can have fun and learn the basic skills and rules of basketball. Visit www.wlyba.org for more information about recreational league and prep league programs.

Westlake Area Youth Cheer

Westlake Youth Football (Westlake Pop Warner Football and Cheer) helps children learn the fundamentals of football and cheerleading in a safe, controlled atmosphere. Westlake Area Youth Golf

Barton Creek Country Club offers a 4 Half-Day Junior Academy for ages 8 – 18 years.  It’s an all-inclusive introduction to the game of golf. This Academy includes 4 half-day coaching and analysis classes from Barton Creek’s professional instructors.  The 4 Half-Day Junior Academy is limited to 15 students. Classes run from 8:30-2:00 pm each day. Please contact Barton Creek Country Club for additional information.

Lost Creek Country Club offers 4-day Golf Camps throughout the Spring and Summer.  These camps cover all areas of the game and are designed for players ages 7 and up.  Please contact Lost Creek Country Club for additional information.

Westlake Youth Soccer Association helps young soccer players grow and mature by giving them opportunities to learn new skills and meet new challenges. Westlake Area Youth Softball

Westlake Area Youth Swimming

Barton Creek West (Barracudas) offers swimmers ages 6-18 the chance to challenge themselves and to be part of a team. Visit www.bcwbarracudas.com for more information.

Lost Creek Swim Club (Cruzers) is a part of the Austin Hills Swim League (AHSL). This team is a summer recreational swim team designed for the development of swimmers ages 5-18. LC Cruzers fills its roster with 150+ swimmers and competes against 7 other local summer recreational teams. Visit www.lostcreekcruzers.com for more information.

West Austin Athletic Club offers a wide variety of activities for both adults and children. Members enjoy 5 swimming pools and a wide variety of swimming programs.  Guppy lessons, Guppy Camp, Stroke Clinics, Shark & Dolphin camps and the Summer Flyers swim team are available for swimmers ages 4-8.  Swimmers age 8 and up are invited to participle in the August Elite Stroke Clinic, Barracuda Camp, US Swim Team and West Austin Aquatics. Westlake Area Youth Tennis

Barton Creek Country Club features 11 lighted hard surface tennis courtsThis club offers weekly clinics and Summer Camps featuring “Quick Start” – a USTA program designed to teach players, ages 4 – 7, basic tennis fundamentals and “HITT” – a high intensity tennis training program designed to teach players, ages 8-16, advanced tennis. Lost Creek Country Club offers tennis instruction for players beginning at age 4 – 18. An Academy-level program is also available to those currently participating in the USTA’s competitive pathway.  The Summer Tennis Academy runs from early June through August 19. West Austin Athletic Club  is a family-oriented club that offers a wide variety of activities for both adults and children. Tennis courts are available to members and the club offers tennis camps for ages 4-14.  Visit www.wfly.com for more information.

Westlake Area Youth Volleyball
